Below are links to some of our experiences. They cover health issues we have encountered. We very much believe in not hiding here at Chifido. Breeding is not an exact science - no matter how much we would like it to be - and problems sometimes crop up. Just like humans, not all dogs, no matter how hard you try, are born perfect. Like some babies, some puppies are born with congenital defects. These defects are not heriditary but can have life threatening impacts. Some of the issues covered in the older dogs are medical events we have encountered and are for information. Nothing in these articles is intended to be or replace, veterinary advice. If you are ever worried about the health of your dog, don't delay, visit your vet.
